The beaches of the Riviera of Versilia have always been renowned throughout Europe for their ample size and fine, golden sand. This coast has always been considered one of the best in Italy thanks to the equipment, open spaces, pleasant climate and fully accessorised bathing establishments equipped with every comfort. In addition to bathing establishments, public beaches and council-run equipped beaches are also within close vicinity of the La Coralia bed & breakfast. In addition to enjoying some relaxation on the beach, sailing, surfing and windsurfing are the main activities that can be enjoyed in the sea.
The peaks of the Apuan Alps rise above the sea, reaching close to 2,000 metres in height. For those interested we can organise guided excursions of the park to allow guests to fully experience the wonders of these mountains. The Apuan Park is also one of the largest karstic areas in the world. Corchia’s cave, with sixty kilometres of tunnels, is one of the most beautiful tourist caves in Italy. The main activities that can be practised in the Apuan Alps are trekking, mountain biking, free climbing and speleology.

The tradition of good food and wine is perhaps one of the most popular attractions of Versilia and Tuscany. The unique nature of this territory produces unique products and some of the best wines in the world. Great wines of Bolgheri such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia; the hilly areas of Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino; extra virgin olive oil from the area of Lucca; strong-flavoured cheeses and hams such as Lardo di Colonnata. These are just some examples of the vast food and wine heritage present in the territory. We can recommend the best places in which to taste, savour and purchase the many local and Tuscan specialities.
